There is a 0.80 R land of the Market Committee in Group No. 572/2 at Sub-Market Bhalwani and the Market Committee has constructed 23 traders' stalls there. But due to the inactivity of the traders, those stalls were closed. The Market Committee has started the business of buying and selling agricultural products by giving licenses to new traders at this place. For that, a development plan (layout) considering the next 5 years of the said place has been prepared and sent to the Director of Marketing, Maharashtra State, Pune for approval and the approval of the Director of Marketing has been obtained. Accordingly, the business of buying and selling vegetables has been started there on a daily basis. Also, an open shed is proposed in front of the traders' stalls. In the future, the government will try to develop the market premises by carrying out various development works through the DMI scheme.

Petrol Pump

The market committee has started a petrol pump of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. in the financial year 2008/2009 in the area of ​​Sub-Bazar Bhalwami on 19/3/2009 and many farmers, vehicle owners, truck, tempo drivers, Bhalwani and citizens of the surrounding area come there to buy petrol and diesel as there is a petrol pump of the organization. The loan taken for the pump was repaid on time and the pump has been running on capital for the last several years. The market committee has installed a solar system there and through that, a large amount of electricity bill has been saved. During the reporting year, the Market Committee sold a total of 4 lakh 62 thousand liters of petrol, 44 thousand 550 liters of power petrol, and 5 lakh 82 thousand liters of diesel, resulting in a financial turnover of Rs. 10 crore 93 lakhs and a trading profit of Rs. 32 lakh 70 thousand. Also, Rs. 1 lakh 19 thousand was generated from daily vegetable purchase and sale transactions.

There is 63 R land of the market committee in Plot No. C-21 in Supa Industrial Estate, where the market committee has completed the work of a 1000 MT capacity warehouse and grain screening machine through the National Agricultural Development Scheme and the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board. By implementing the grain screening machine, the farmers will be given grading of their grains. This will help the farmers get the market price according to the grading of their farm produce. Also, we will try to increase the income of the committee by giving 1000 MT warehouse and grain screening machine on rent. Also, we are trying to prepare a development plan for the area and carry out planned development works accordingly.
